Wall Sit…Ski Sit…

I’ve found I quite like the wall sit, 30 seconds of burn and then the release. Ski sits on the other hand, when you’re against another person. Now those I cannot do. It tends to end up with me and the unlucky other half of my Ski Sit on the floor. Why is it so hard against another person? Am I angling up wrong or does it need more strength?
